Rule of thumb: If your unit cools well and was serviced recently, a general service every 3–4 months keeps it that way. If it smells, drips or cools slowly, book a chemical wash. Most problems start with dirt and blocked airflow, not low gas. We clean and check first, so you only pay for what your unit actually needs.

Every aircond service by Malaysia Experts Care follows the same checklist, so nothing is skipped.
Aircond gas (refrigerant) runs in a sealed loop and is not used up. If the pressure is low, there is a leak somewhere. That's why we never top up gas "just in case". Our technician checks the pressure with a gauge and explains the result. If it is low, we find and repair the leak first, then recharge with the correct gas for your unit. Gases are never mixed, and too much gas also makes an aircond less efficient.
If you are not satisfied with the result, tell us within 24 hours on WhatsApp and we will come back to check and fix it at no extra charge.
For daily home use in Penang, book a general service every 3 to 4 months and a chemical wash about once a year, or sooner if you notice symptoms. Manufacturers recommend professional servicing at least once or twice a year (Daikin Malaysia, Panasonic), and Penang's climate is harder on units than most:

Between services: wash the filters yourself every 2–4 weeks. Don't wash PM2.5 or deodorising filters with water.
